The Franklin County Children’s Task Force (FCCTF) has been awarded a $25,000 grant from the John T Gorman Foundation to assist families in overcoming barriers to furthering their and their child’s education. Two-generation (2Gen) approaches build family well-being by intentionally and simultaneously working with children and the adults in their lives at the same time. 2Gen approaches center the whole family to create a legacy of educational success and economic prosperity that passes from one generation to the next. Support can come in many forms, help with access to internet services, childcare, automotive repair to ensure children are able to get to school and parents can get to work. The applications for this program are ongoing. Families are encouraged to visit our website at www.fcctf.org or call our office at 207-778-6960 to schedule a time to meet one of our staff to fill out the application.
All of our Parent Enrichment Classes and community trainings are currently being offered in person and through Zoom. Please call 207-778-6960 with any questions or to sign up.
